Apex® Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for FN 509

The Apex Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for the FN 509 upgrades the factory fire control system with a smoother, lighter trigger pull and a more refined trigger feel. The kit reduces trigger pull weight to approximately 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) while shortening take-up, over-travel, and reset. It includes a curved aluminum trigger pre-installed on an Apex trigger bar, along with the Apex Performance Sear, while retaining the factory-style center-mounted trigger safety.

Lighter, Shorter Trigger Pull

Once installed, the kit reduces trigger pull weight to approximately 5.5 lb (2.5 kg). It also shortens take-up, minimizes over-travel, and provides a shorter, more tactile reset than the factory trigger. The result is a cleaner, more predictable trigger press with faster follow-up shots.

Curved Trigger with Integral Safety Blade

This version (119-126) features a traditional curved trigger shoe, unlike the flat-faced 119-125 model. An integral center safety blade preserves the factory passive trigger safety while providing a familiar trigger profile preferred by many shooters.

Complete Drop-In Upgrade Kit

The kit includes the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger pre-installed on an Apex trigger bar together with the Apex Performance Sear. Designed as a complete system, it replaces multiple factory fire control components without requiring fitting or permanent modification.

Compatible with FN 509 Pistols

The kit is compatible with all current FN 509 models, including the Tactical, Midsize, Compact, and Edge Series. It is also compatible with the FN FNS Compact. It is not compatible with the FN FNS, FN 503, or FN Reflex.
