At the end of September, Leoš Janáček Airport in Ostrava hosted the 25th-anniversary NATO Days alongside the 16th Czech Air Force Days. The region’s largest security and air-show event featured dynamic demonstrations of military and rescue equipment, headline aerobatic performances, and briefings from allied armed forces. Rigad participated as an event partner, running an exhibition stand, meeting visitors, and holding discussions on equipment for service use and training.

The AH-1Z Viper serving with the Czech Army and the F-35 Lightning II were among the main attractions at NATO Days 2025.
At NATO Days 2025 in Ostrava the program was packed both on the ground and in the sky. Attendees enjoyed headline aerobatic displays, dynamic demonstrations of modern military and rescue systems, and informative presentations from allied armed forces. Standout moments included spectacular performances by elite air teams, premiere appearances of several new platforms, and an extensive showcase of the Czech defense industry.

The Black Hawk and KC-390 demonstrated versatile deployment capabilities, from troop transport to support for search-and-rescue operations.
NATO Days in Ostrava are more than a public spectacle — they serve as a practical platform that brings together armed forces, security institutions, industry, and the general public. Each year the event demonstrates NATO allies’ interoperability in real-world settings, showcases emerging technologies, and raises public awareness of the missions carried out by the military, police, and integrated emergency services.
The 25th-anniversary edition in 2025 underlined the Czech Army’s drive for modernization, visible across the programme — from new air-defence systems to demonstrations of cutting-edge aircraft. Visitors also witnessed realistic rescue scenarios, emphasizing the importance of preparedness not only for the armed forces but for civilian response units as well.

On the display area, modern armored vehicles met military history — an Oshkosh MRAP stood alongside the legendary T-34/85.
Rigad was also present at NATO Days 2025 in Ostrava. As an event partner, we hosted an exhibition stand where our team engaged with visitors, partners, and former comrades-in-arms throughout the weekend. It was an excellent opportunity to discuss equipment for service and training, share hands-on experience, and gather valuable feedback on products we are developing in collaboration with professionals.
Beyond the personal meetings, the event underscored the value of community — from active service members and veterans to members of the public interested in modern equipment and security topics. That spirit is what makes NATO Days more than a technology showcase: it is a gathering of people united by shared experience and values.
