Did you know that the first product of Czech construction and production produced in First Military Factory Ammunition in Polička was in 1921 hand grenade ? The Factory in Polička under the name STV GROUP follows on the tradition of producing ammunition. The production was then focusing on production of hand grenades and artillery shells to meet security demands of the recently founded Czechoslovakia. With the consolidation of STV GROUP, a.s., and Poličské strojírny, a.s., in 2015, the largest Czech producer of ammunition has been arisen.

STV Group follows the armament industry tradition in Polička that goes back to 1920. Nowdays the production includes ammunition to handguns, artillery, mortar, aerial, sapper, then also plastic explosives,AK based rifles and RPG-7 a SPG-9 anti-tank weapons.

Moreover the company built an environmental management system certfied to ISO 14001. They are one of the leaders in the area of general repairs of military engineering and supply of spare parts for ground as well as air engineering. They company is also reliable supplier to the Czech Army and NSPA agency.

Company was granted AQAP 2110 certificate and follow NATO requirements according to AQAP 2120.

STV GROUP develope, produce and distribute industrial explosives, provide drilling and blasting operations, trade with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, fireworks and safety materials.
