Benelli. That is all a shooter needs to hear when it comes to shotguns. The brand name has long been synonymous with top-quality craftsmanship and precision. Shooters who face high demands, whether in sports, hunting or protecting others, expect their tools to be of the highest possible quality. And the Benelli M4 T-Pro 14" semi-automatic shotgun delivers that. A robust, practical shotgun specially designed for guaranteed shooter comfort and quick use.
The M4 model is a semi-automatic shotgun manufactured by the legendary Italian firearms producer Benelli. The semi-automatic shotgun M4 T-Pro 14" is the fourth and final model in the Benelli Super 90 series of semi-automatic shotguns. The M4 operates using a gas-operated system termed ARGO (Auto Regulating Gas Operated) by Benelli, designed in 1998 specifically for the M4 semi-automatic shotgun.
On May 4, 1998, the United States Army's Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey issued a requirement for a new 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun for the American armed forces. In response to this request, Benelli designed and presented the Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun. After intensive military testing, the M4 shotgun won the competition. This semi-automatic shotgun is adopted not only by the American armed forces but also worldwide by the law enforcement agencies of countries like Italy and the United Kingdom.
Testing of the military version of the M4 shotgun indicates a high level of reliability. The firearm functions flawlessly for at least 25,000 shots without needing the replacement of main parts due to wear. The steel components of the weapon are black phosphate treated with a corrosion-resistant coating. The aluminum parts are anodized. All these construction details ensure that the Benelli M4 T-Pro 14" semi-automatic shotgun requires little maintenance and operates in all weather and climatic conditions.
Thanks to the telescopic stock specifically developed for the M4 shotgun, you can easily and quickly adjust the length of the firearm by simply pressing a button and sliding the stock in or out. The stock is made from glass fiber-reinforced technopolymer.
The firearm is further equipped with Benelli's innovative gas system, which is precise, durable, and reliable. ARGO stands for the gas-operated self-regulating system (Auto Regulating Gas Operated system). The A.R.G.O. system is located under the barrel near the chamber, allowing it to utilize higher pressure and hot gases from shooting. A special regulating valve then releases excess pressure from shooting.
